III. Working Principle
The alternating current is rectified and stored in the capacitor. A high voltage is generated through inversion, and after being rectified by the high-voltage silicon stack, it is transferred to the energy storage capacitor. Then, through the control circuit, the charge of the capacitor is transmitted to the cable through the semiconductor device and released to the forefront of the spark plug, generating a strong electric spark.
- Ignited Substances, Characteristics of Semiconductor Spark Plugs, and Characteristics of High-Energy Igniters
- The ignited substances are combustible gases, well-atomized oil, combustible dust, etc.
- The front firing end of the semiconductor spark plug is made of special ceramic semiconductor material, and its ignition performance is not affected by the medium, air pressure, or temperature.
- The high-energy igniter adopts a high-frequency inverter switching circuit and all-solid-state ignition technology inside, abandoning the traditional discharge tube, which greatly improves the power efficiency of the system and the service life of the igniter.
