III. Working Principle
The alternating current is rectified and stored in the capacitor. Then, a high voltage is generated through inversion. The high voltage is rectified by the high-voltage silicon stack to the energy storage capacitor. Subsequently, through the control circuit, the charge of the capacitor is transmitted to the cable via semiconductor devices and then released to the very front end of the spark plug, generating a strong electric spark.
